Add Foreign Holidays to Your Calendars
![]()
In a previous post, I spoke about holidays and their importance for international business. If you do business with one country in particular, you should consider entering the countries holidays into your electronic calendar.
For Mac, the Apple site lists scores of free downloads which will add holidays of a particular country to your calendar. http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/calendars/
Microsoft Outlook offers a built-in feature for adding holidays from other countries to the calendar. This site provides a good overview of how to do it: http://www.slipstick.com/calendar/holidays.htm
For Lotus Notes: Domino Web Access 7.0 (iNotes) also provides a similar feature, otherwise holidays can only be added automatically by a Lotus Domino server administrator. If you are a Lotus whiz, please leave a message letting other readers know how to do this or where to go for help. Thanks!

For a regularly updated listing of worldwide public holidays, try our site at (www.qppstudio.net). Our database is the one that has been used by the world’s formost diary and calendar publishers (such as Filofax) for years.
For daily gossip about worldwide public holidays news and updates, see our blog at (http://qppstudio-public-holidays-news.blogspot.com/). This is the source use by many holidays and travel websites to keep their data up-to-date.
