Quest for a tolerable news programme

by Chris on April 23rd, 2008

Business travelers have long been forced to deal with the not-so-dulcet tones of Richard Quest, CNN International’s loudmouth news voice. And apparently, I’m not the only one who finds him annoying.

Now, Mr Quest has gotten himself into some hot water, and as the article points out, it will be interesting to see if it quiets him down any. One can only hope.

I particularly am a fan of Richard Quest. The colorful way he presents a show nobody can come closer.
“Business Traveller” hasn’t been the same: it lacks that special something he adds to each and every report or show he presents.

Can’t wait for him to lcome back. Hope CNN receives back with open arms.
Hope he learns his lesson as well. After all, like it or not it’s not only his name but CNN’s behind this whole fiasco.

It certainly is colorful, I have to give you that, and it’s just not CNN International without him. Richard Quest is kind of like a train wreck - it’s painful, but it’s also hard not to watch and be fascinated.
